Family Vacation at Deer Lake & Spokane

Our last week-
Alan's family has a family reunion every 2 years at a resort on Deer Lake which is outside Spokane, Washington. This was the 4th one. We all stay in cabins, hang out on the beach, do all kinds of fun water activities, eat a lot of well cooked meals and have lots of fun. This year if I heard right there were close to 100 people (Alan comes from a family which is 2 families combined and there are 11 kids total). Alan is the youngest of his family and has neices and nephews who have kids that are the same age as our kids.
The first night on the beach-
The next morning Alli and Jonathan are ready to jump in the water.
Jonathan so happy to be sleeping on the top bunk in our cabin.
Alan and his brother Barry
Alan and his sister Janel
The kids loved playing in the water. They played ALL day long! We had to drag them out at the end of the day.
Playing in the sand with their 2nd cousins. They made some pretty cool things in the sand. It is kind of rocky but they don't seem to care.
This is where we ate all of our meals. It is usually packed with lots of people talking and eating. They have wonderful chefs at the resort and we get fed really well.
We celebrated Alan's dads 80th birthday while we were all there. Alan's sister Karalee put together a wonderful video highlighting his life and boy has he had a great life. Happy Birthday Dad!
Alan's mom & dad, Cassidy, us, Lynn (neice), Alan's sister Ann and her husband Monte, Jeff, (nephew), Chad (nephew) and his wife Sharla
Mom & Dad-Thanks for a wonderful family reunion! We had so much fun and can't wait to see everyone again in 2 years.
We flew out of Spokane to go back home. We left the day after the reunion so we had the day to play in Spokane. Alan's brother Barry and his family live close so they hung out with us for the day. We went to a children's hands on museum and we all had a lot of fun.
Uncle Barry had to get in on all of the fun. He really is quite the artist.
They had a little Filipino store with play things that you could buy. First you shop at the store then...
You go to the little house which has a kitchen and you cook the food, then...
(Aunt Rachelle making dinner)
You sit in the living room and eat the food. It was such a cute play area that the kids just loved. Alli thought she was pretty funny when she cooked up 8 fish for Uncle Barry to eat.
Jonathan playing on the electronic digger.
Fun playing at Riverside park in Spokane. It was within walking distance of our hotel.
Olivia and mom getting ready to go down the slide.
