Birthday Girl

I am about a month late posting pictures but here is Olivia's birthday.
Happy Birthday Olivia!
We celebrated Olivia's 1st b-day while my parents were here even though it was a few weeks early.
She was very excited about her presents.
Her first "Olivia" book.

I love this picture. She was cutting a couple of new teeth and was very grumpy right before eating her cake. We had given her a piece of celery to chew on to make her happy and she didn't want to let go of it. Her facial expression tells it all. She was not very excited about the cake at first.

As you can see she still has the celery.

Still has the celery but getting a little more excited about eating the cake.

Having fun mushing the cake but holding on to the celery. :)

I don't know if you can tell from this picture but this is the point where she lets go of the celery and decides that it was just not cutting it. I WANT THE CAKE!

It was so good that she started eating the plate. She couldn't get enough.

My parents were so excited because while they were here she started to really walk. She had been taking steps for about a month but I guess she wanted grandpa and grandma to see her walk before they left since it would be a while before we saw them next. It was pretty exciting. She would walk back and forth from grandpa to grandma and just smile and laugh. She knew that she was the star of the show.
