Christmas 2011

Christmas morning

Olivia loved her pink, Minnie Mouse scooter from Santa.  She kept saying,"Santa got me a pink scooter just like I wanted."

Nicholas just liked chewing on everyone's M&M containers.

Olivia also got an "Our Generation" doll.  She loves to play with Alli's American Girl doll, Felicity, but that doesn't go over too well especially when she wants Alli to play dolls with her and she makes Alli use one of her baby dolls and she gets to play with Felicity.  Big sister is nice but not that nice so we had to get her a big doll of her own and she loves it.  She carried it around all day.  She would have taken it to church if we would have let her.

Jonathan loved his Paper Jamz guitar.  It was okay for the 1st hour but by the end of the day I was thinking,"Why did we get this for him?"  Luckily it has a volume control but somehow it kept getting turned up after I would turn it down.  :)  It was all worth it though to see how much fun he was having with it.

Pillow pets from Grandpa and Grandma Burnham

Alli's favorite gift was her clipboard that I decorated and filled with school supplies.  I have never seen anyone so excited to get a clipboard.  I guess it is the little things in life that make us happy.

Nicholas' favorite present was actually the toothbrush he got in his stocking.  It is hard to see in this picture but he has it in his hand.  He chewed on it all  day.  It must have felt good on his gums.  He is getting his 2 top teeth.  He looks like such a big boy.

We got Jonathan the book "Treasure Island" for Christmas.   Pirates... buried treasure..., what little boy wouldn't love it, especially our pirate loving little boy.  After church Alan was reading it to Jonathan and they both fell asleep.  They were all tuckered out after getting an early start in the morning.
