We went to our favorite pumpkin patch this year. We don't go every year because it is a little ways away but this was the year. We love it because of the laid back feeling and of course all of the fun things to do. It is owned by a family who live right there on the property. One year they stayed open later just for us and our friends.
What a cute family!
The kids love the big trucks full of corn. This was Nicholas' favorite thing to do!
They loved burying each other.
The kids racing round a race track on trikes.
They have old machines that take the corn off the cob and then one that grinds the corn up. (Not sure the name of them).
You can't see in this picture but there is a tractor that pulls a line of old lawn mowers like a train. So fun and helping the environment by recycling old riding mowers. :)
Nicholas loved turning the wheel like he was driving and pulling on all of the levers.
There is a big fort made out of hay bails.
With tunnels all over that the kids can crawl through. They had a ball chasing each other all around.
At the end of our evening we went on a hay ride to a corn maze that ends at the pumpkin patch. Jonathan was sooooo excited!
Love this picture of Nicholas chillin' on Alan's shoulders. Looks like he is a little tuckered out after having so much fun.
Livy was the first to pick her pumpkin. She knew right away which one she wanted.
Jonathan on the other hand had to walk through the whole pumpkin patch to find just the right one. He was looking for the biggest one but because of the dry summer we had they weren't as big as other years. He did find a great one.

We had such a great time. I LOVE THE FALL!
