Alli's Birthday

Alli's Birthday
Alli and her 3 best friends at her birthday party.
With mom and dad.  We love our Alli!

We just happened to be going to Nashville on Alli's birthday weekend so we stayed with Tyler (my brother) Abby so they got to celebrate with us.  Of course Alli loved that.  On Friday night we went out to eat at IHOP, one of Alli's favorite places to eat.  We had a great time!  It was kind of sad because Alli and Jonathan are too big for the kids meals.  They now have to order a regular meal to fill them up.  My kids are growing up too fast not to mention now it is more expensive to eat out.

We mentioned to the waitress that it was Alli's birthday so they sang to her and gave her this yummy sundae.  She had to have everyone's help in eating it because she was so stuffed after eating her big meal.

The cake I made her to take with us.

I made a rainbow cake.  When I cut into it Alli was so surprised to see all of the color.  I didn't tell her that I was going to do that.

Alli and all of her friends at her party.

She wanted a singing/dancing party so I made these microphone cupcakes.

Pretending to sing into their microphones.
Alli is so blessed to have such good, fun friends.  And they had a blast singing and dancing and eating of course.

One of her favorite gifts that she loved was from Claire.  She gave her pens, a clipboard, and containers filled with tacks, paper clips, small pens and markers, etc.... What can I say, the girl loves school supplies.

She also loved her Elf on the Shelf from Kennedy.

Alli's favorites:
Colors: pink, purple, lime green and light blue
Book: Tale of Despereaux
T.V. Show:  Electric Company
FoodBlack Beans and rice and Black Bean and Sweet Corn Quinoa Salad (both from Mel's kitchen cafe) or anything really with black beans and cilantro. YAY!  Love this! She takes after her momma.  Her least favorite food is fried rice.
DessertAny type of cheesecake
FruitRaspberries (I think she likes them so much because it brings good memories of our trips to Idaho.  My parents have a huge raspberry patch and if we go home in the right month then the kids love picking fresh raspberries and eating them and grandma make raspberry shakes.
School Subject:  Social Studies - she especially loved to units on economics and the Native Americans.
Place to eat out:  August Moon (Chinese Buffet)
Things to do:  Play school, hang out with friends, crafts, and ride bikes
She wants to be a teacher when she grows up.  Not surprising since she loves school supplies and loves to play school
I asked her what make her happy and she said, "Being with her family and her friends.

She is so kind hearted and fun to be around.  She is always smiling and happy.  She is a great student and good grades are important to her so she puts in the time and effort it takes to get them.  She is very responsible and always tries her best.  She is a big help to her mom. When I need to get something done she will take Nicholas or Olivia and play with them and of course they love playing with their big sister.  She know exactly what they love to play and can keep them entertained and I think she has fun too.  She knows how to make them feel special.  She is a great example to her friends and her family.  Last but not least she has a desire to do what is right and follow the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. We are so proud of her. We love you ALLI!
