Fall Sports

We have had fun this fall with lots of activities two of them being Jonathan's soccer and Alli's tennis. Here is Jonathan in action on the field ready to get that ball. He is very good and made a lot of goals.

Alli has wanted to play tennis for the past 2 years (ever since she found out that her cousin Cassidy plays tennis. She really looks up the her cousin). Well, I never knew how to make it happen. We don't belong to a country club and I had never heard of tennis for young kids. I finally ended up calling the University athletics department to see if they could direct me somewhere. To make a long story short Alli and 3 of her friends now take tennis from the assitant coach of the women's tennis team. He is so great! He keeps those girls moving and it is amazing what they have learned so far. All 4 of them have so much fun and they just love it!

I now have a desire to take lessons. I just found out that they have a big adult league in the area. They also have some mother/daughter tournaments. Wouldn't that be fun! I would love to be able to play with Alli. We will see what happens.
