She had 6 friends over for a birthday party. It was a baking theme (Thanks to Alan's neice, Jill for the idea). Here they are decorating their aprons and chef's hats. Note for anyone wanting to do this - don't us fabric paint because they were too wet to wear. Bummer! I guess I will know for next time. Maybe decorate with only stickers or markers. They didn't care though. They loved it!
Next they made their own pizza. I had made the dough ahead of time and gave them each a piece of dough and they spread it out on a piece of tin foil (They enjoyed using their hands). Then they spread pizza sauce and topped it with their favorite toppings. Some had never made their own pizza so they thought it was pretty cool. So delicious!

While the pizzas were cooking we played a few games, ate pizza and then the last thing we did was they decorated their own little heart cakes. Way too much candy for me but of course the more the better for them. They all had so much fun. Some commented that it was the "best party they had ever been to." They probably say that to everyone but it made me feel good after all the work that goes into having a party. It feels good to know that everyone had fun.
