We finally did get some real snow at the very end of January. The kids had sooooo much fun. We don't own any sleds but our friends do and they invited us to go sledding. That is the first time that our kids had ever been and we couldn't get them off the hill. They could have sledded all day long. (our camera batteries died so we don't have any pictures). We had forgotten how much fun 5-6 inches of snow can be. :)

We thought that this was hilarious and just had to snap a picture. Our young snowman aged as it melted. If you notice in his right hand Alan gave him a cane.
love the snowman! I think it's pretty cool that TN/KY got several nice snow storms this year!! We didn't even build a snowman with all of ours (that is now finally melted!! WOO HOO) b/c it was so dry--but there are reports of maybe some next week that will be wet? I don't think I'll be in the 'snowman mood' in the middle of March...

Ha Ha! love the 'old snowman'! That made me laugh. I am glad your kids found a love of the white stuff. My kids growing up with it, can't even fathom a winter without it. Skiing, sledding, snow forts, snow fights ect... cute pics!
