Family Close By

My brother Tyler and his wife Abby just moved to Tennessee. YEA! Now I have family only 2 hours away! I know the rest of my family is not excited that he has moved so far away but I am thrilled.

They came to visit us the weekend before we left for our summer vacation. We went miniature golfing. It was so much fun hanging out with them and of course the kids loved having them come. (Our friend Michael was with us for the weekend while his parents were out of town).



The kids had so much fun. We don't keep score. They just hit it until it goes in and sometime pick it up and move it to just the right position.

Livy was done about halfway through, but she had fun carrying her ball and golf club.




I love peacocks. They are so beautiful.
They had peacocks wandering around so I had to take a picture. Alan always loves to tell people the story that when I was younger our neighbor had peacocks and they would wander around on our property. I thought that was normal and that everyone had peacocks wandering around their house. It wasn't until I was older that I realized that wasn't normal. He then convinces me to make my peacock sound. I do have to say that I am pretty good at it. :)

We then stopped at Kentucky lake for a picnic.
