On Christmas Eve Alan made us a wonderfully delicious Korean dinner. It is called "pulkogi," and boy is it delicious. You take a lettuce leaf and put rice and meat on it and then you roll it up and eat it. The kids loved it! They even used the chopsticks. They were a little messy but eventually they got the hang of it. Alan got his Korean table, rice bowls and chopsticks out of the attic so that we could make it more authentic. And of course we had to sit on the floor. It was soooo much fun! We think that we have discovered a new Christmas Eve tradition.1/13/2009
