Philadelphia

We made a quick stop in Philadelphia on the way, just to see what it was like. There is so much of our nation's history there. We didn't get to see much, #1 because it was getting late and the kids were anxious to get to New Jersey and #2 Philadelphia is not very exciting for kids. We will have to go back when they study U.S. History in school, then it will be more meaningful to them. They were wondering what was so exciting about a cracked bell. :)

In front of Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence was signed. We didn't get to go inside because they didn't have anymore tours that day.
Independence Hall again

The Liberty bell - Or for the kids the not so exciting cracked bell. :)

The kids did enjoy seeing all of the horse carriages. The driver let them pet this one.
