Alan's 41st Birthday Party

I asked Alan what he wanted to do for his birthday and he said that he wanted to have a birthday party at Ya Ya's Island. It is an indoor play area in Paducah with lots of inflateable bounce houses and slides. I thought that he was only kidding at first but he was serious. He is a big kid at heart. :) So we suprised the kids and went today. We didn't tell them where we were going until we got there and of course they were sooooo excited. They were very happy that Dad invited them to his birthday party.

Olivia was so fun to watch. She is now the age where she can have lots of fun and enjoy it. She just couldn't get enough and of course didn't want to leave.

The birthday boy went on and in everything that the kids did. Here they are climbing up to the big twisty slide. Usually those slides are not very fast for adults but this one was fun and it was really fast at the end and would shoot you out. The kids loved this one.

More climbing

After playing we came home and had a special dinner of Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini, opened up presents and had Ice Box Lemon Pie. He chose this over cake. It is very delicious. As you can see, Olivia just couldn't wait to eat it. She had to have a little sample. :)

Happy Birthday Alan! We had such a fun day together as a family and that is what life is all about. We are so blessed to have such a fun, wonderful father and husband.
