Birthday

Last week we had a birthday party for our good friend's daughter. Her mom was gone visiting family in Japan so we stepped in to make sure that she had an extra special day. Dads are great but birthday's need a women's touch. :) The kids loved picking out presents and getting everything ready for the special evening.

We love Shari! She is a great babysitter. The kids are always excited when she comes.

I didn't add any pecans because I didn't have any but I bet it would be delicious. The cake is so moist and the icing is heavenly.
