Springtime Fun

Here are just a few springtime activities our family did.

Our friends Juyoung and Amber stopped by to visit on Mother's day.  It was such a nice night that we decided to walk them back to their house.

We got new benches for our kitchen table. The kids love them.  Our chairs were literally falling apart.  They had broken on a few people who sat on them and they weren't heavy people.  We were able to save 2 chairs to go at the 2 ends of the table.

We made our annual strawberry picking trip.
Nicholas loved picking and eating the strawberries, stem and all.

He also love playing in the dirt.  He is definitely all boy.

The strawberries came on early this year because we had such a mild winter and our only free day was one day while Alli and Jonathan were in school.  They were sad that they missed it but happy that they got to eat strawberries.

Olivia was a great strawberry picker.

Alli and Jonathan participated in a 1 mile fun run.  I ran with them.  We trained for a couple of weeks.  We clocked a 1 mile route from our house and would go each night.  It was fun to be exercising and training together.

Afterwards we went to McDonald's for yogurt parfaits.  I guess it has become our family tradition because Alan ran the 5K last year and we did the same thing.
