Happy Birthday Alan!
| The kids with Alan on his birthday. I took them to the dollar store and they all chose one thing that they thought dad would like. I was fun to see what all of them picked. Alan loved it. |
| Two of Alan's favorite things (besides chocolate) - blueberries and cheesecake. It was so delicious! |
Happy Mother's Day!
| Jonathan's 1st grade class had a special Mother's Day breakfast. |
| Livy made me a breakfast in a bag at her story hour to open on Mother's Day so that I wouldn't have to cook. She was so excited to give it to me and have me open it. I can't believe that she waited from Tuesday to Sunday and didn't even break down and tell me what was in it or open it. She is a great secret keeper. |
| Me eating my breakfast, well, all that was left was the oatmeal after the kids helped me eat my doughnut and drink my juice and with 4 little mouths to feed there wasn't much left. HA! It sure was fun all sharing together. |
| Alan made a wonderful lunch - his famous Sesame Chicken, with sister Schubert rolls and an amazing salad. Yummy! |
| He also made me a delicious red velvet bundt cake. I am just so spoiled. |
I have such a great husband and wonderful children who
made my day very special. It is great being a mom. It definitely has
its hard days but I wouldn't change it for the world. There is nothing more rewarding.
Love your updates!! Happy BIrthday Alan & Happy Mother's Day, Janice!! That red velvet cake looks AMAAAAAZING. I want some!! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're such a great Mom, Janice--thanks for your example to me!
