Fun with Alan's family

Our last week of vacation was spent at Alan's parents house.  We had a wonderful time!
The kids with grandpa and grandma - We were all outside one evening enjoying the cool Idaho summer evening so we snapped a few pictures.
What a cute couple
With grandpa

Grandpa and Grandma

After taking pictures we decided to take a drive up the mountain and enjoy the beauties of nature. Grandpa and Grandma volunteered to drive the kids in our van.
And we got to drive their car.  I think we got the better end of the deal.  Ha!

What a fun ride!
Grandpa's Model A - The kids favorite car in the whole wide world.  We took lots of rides while we were there.
Love this picture of the kids in the back of grandpa's car with their hats on.

Jonathan and Alan hiked up Red hill.
Here's Jonathan at the top under the pillars

Self portrait at the top.
Then they went to a park and walked around a new pond they just put in.  Love the pose!

We went to a pancake breakfast to support the Kiwanis.  So yummy!  I love a good pancake breakfast.
They had clowns making balloon art.  So of course the kids loved it!
Alli and Cassidy
Some of the kids favorite activities to do with grandma is playing memory and doing puzzles.

We took the kids to the university art shop.  They have a few art projects for the kids to do.  Alli and Livy made beads out of clay.

Helping Livy twist her 3 colors of clay together.  Then they cut them into little pieces and rolled them into different shapes.  They turned out so cute.

Jonathan tie-dyed a t-shirt.  He had so much fun putting all of the colors on.  I wish I would have taken a picture of all of the final products.
Alan took the kids to the Idaho Museum of Natural History.
There was an area which had kids activities.  Olivia loved trying on all the masks.

We love sleep overs with cousins!
Alan's parents watched the kids one night so that we could go to the temple and out to eat and of course some shopping.  It was a great evening alone.  This is what we found when we got home.  Grandpa and Nicholas having some snuggle time.
Our last evening there we went to Alan's sisters house for marshmallow roasting.

Alan and his sister Janel.  She helped entertain us throughout the week.  Thanks for all of the fun times.

Jonathan had to take a picture with his favorite uncle.  He calls Jonathan "JB, " jokes around with him and teases him and Jonathan loves it.

Love these pictures of the kids and grandma.

We had such a great time and we were sad when it was time to make the long trek back home and leave our beautiful Idaho, but we will be back next year.....
