Pocatello

Our next stop on our vacation was visiting Alan's parents.
Nicholas loved snuggling with grandpa. He is such a snugly little boy and I love that.

After Sunday dinner

No trip to Pocatello would be complete without a Model A ride.

And of course Jonathan's favorite, a Harley ride.

We had a fun time putting together a puzzle with grandma. It was harder than we thought so the kids were done after a while and the adults finished it.

Here is the finished project.

We went up the mountain and had a picnic and went on a hike with Alan's sister Janel and her daughter Cassidy.

We didn't bring the backpack for Livy since she is getting too big for it so she walk the whole way well almost the whole way. Until her big brother Jonathan felt bad for her and offered her a piggy back ride. What a good brother.

While on the hike we lost the path for a while. (A log was blocking the path so we couldn't see it). All of the sudden the path we were on ended. Alan turned around to go back and ran ahead to see where we went wrong. The rest of us turned around and slowly started back. I quickly realized that Jonathan wasn't with us. I looked around and found him a little ways behind us. He was standing there with his arms folded and bowing his head. Aunt Janel asked if he was praying and he shyly said "yes." He was praying that we could find our way again. What a proud mom moment. I was so impressed that the first thing he thought of when he thought we were lost was to pray.

We also went to the Idaho Falls Zoo.

Alli couldn't wait to see the zebra. So we had to take picture when we finally saw them. Don't you love the big glasses? She loves having an older cousin who has so many "cool" things.

You probably can't really see this picture but I just had to put it in for the kids sake. This was one their favorite thing at Grandma and Grandpa's. Alan put their big sectional couch together in a big square for them to sleep in. They called it their "nest." They all fought over who got to sleep in it each night and then played in it during the day. They had a blast.

Alli and Cassidy had lots of fun sleepovers. This them ready for bed and playing games on Cassidy's ipad until lights out. Alli loved it, cool cousin with lots of fun stuff.

He tried to take one with Alli and Livy but this was the best he got. It is really hard to get Livy to sit still long enough to look at the camera.

While we were there for the week Alli and Jonathan did swimming lessons. They did super good and had fun.

Alan's brother Randy arrived at the end of the week for their family reunion. Livy loved playing with her cousin Matthew. She kept pulling him by the hand to go play with her. (For some reason this post had problems. Sorry about the missing spaces).
